On September 25, 2015 in Astana city took place International conference "Access to information and public participation as factor of ensuring transparency and effectiveness of state bodies activities". Conference experts and participants have discussed draft laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On access to information", "On public councils" and "On fight with corruption".
The necessity and importance of developing above mentioned draft laws are called by conducting anti corruption reforms and implementation of 5 institutional reforms, declared by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Nazarbayev N. and also modernization programme "100 concrete steps". One of the reforms considers introduction and development of transparent and accountable government, following UN Initiative "Open Government Partnership". One of the mechanism of such transformation is adoption a law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On access to information". Increasing role of the society in administration of state will be ensured with help of draft law "On public councils". Draft law "On fight with corruption" will be as a key factor of the implementation of second stage of anti corruption reform in Kazakhstan.
«Introducing new mechanisms and procedures for state bodies to disclose information about their activities, establishment and activities of public councils, new complex and innovative approaches on organization of state service will promote increasing of effectiveness of state administration, informing society, implementation of anti corruption reforms and in general, are directed to implementation of the programme "100 stapes" of the national Leader, head of our country - Nazarbayev N.", - mentioned head of the working group on developing draft law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On public councils", member of the Committee on legislation and judicial and legal reforms of the Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of law - Abdirov N.

We think, that transparency and openness of the state, fight with corruption and increasing role of public institutions in administration of state - are important aspects in life of all Kazakhstan society. In conference participated deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Supreme Court, Prosecutor General's Office, Ministry of Justice, bar, leading international and national experts, representatives of state bodies, academia, public and international organizations.
The conference is organized by the Committee of legislation and judicial and legal reform of the Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Legal Council under the "Nur Otan" party, faction of the "Nur Otan" party, OSCE Programme office in Astana, UN system in Kazakhstan and Legal Policy Research Centre with financial support of the British Embassy Astana.
