At the Legal Policy Research Centre, we are proud to see new generations asking bold questions and searching for answers. Today, we would like to share the work of our intern — Aiyum Almatayeva, a fourth-year student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During her internship, Aiyum prepared a research paper on women’s participation in politics and public administration in Kazakhstan. She looked at the issue from a broad perspective: from the country’s history and international commitments to the real challenges and barriers women face today.
What we value most is that her work is written with honesty, curiosity, and a fresh outlook. It reflects the voice of a young generation that cares deeply about the future of equality and justice in our society.
We are proud to support young authors and provide them with a platform where their ideas can be heard.
